This site is a tribute to John, much loved by many. Since retiring from a long career in the civil service, John spent his time mainly between Mitcham, Surrey and Lymington, Hampshire.
Sadly the need for us all to stay safe at this time due to the coronavirus has meant we are not able to give John the kind of send off we would like at present. We as his family are keen to gather and raise a glass in John's memory once the social distancing measures are lifted with those who are able.
But in the meantime we have this tribute page for people to share their happy memories of John. You are very welcome to share photos but please be mindful this website is public.
If you would like to give something in John's memory we as his family ask for donations to the Alzheimer's Society rather than flowers please.
In memory of my dear friend John Lawson
In memory of all the golf we played and pints we enjoyed as well as doing a good job of work together. RIP JOHN.
